This one day course provides successful participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to competently issue a confined space entry permit. It builds on the knowledge and skills acquired during a base level confined space course such as the THS Confined Space Entry Course.��Topics include the following: �
• Confined space risk assessment;�
• Operation of portable gas detectors;�
• Ventilation and purging;�
• Access and retrieval systems; and �
• Rescue planning.��Duration: 8 hours over one day��Prerequisites: �Confined Space Entry course (T855,CSRM100); or the equivalent qualification. Participants are required to provide written evidence of their prior learning before the booking can be processed.��Training ratio: Participant Ratio 1:12.�Minimum class size: 6.�Maximum class size: 12.�Certification: A statement of attainment will be issued to the successful participants in the following nationally recognised units:�
