About Dan

Dan has worked at THS since late 2014. He is a principal team member in the office as he manages equipment sales through all our delivery channels- in store, online, email and by phone. As part of this consultative role, Dan liaises with clients to ascertain their requirements, gives advice, guidance and recommendations about product selection / solutions. He is also responsible for logistics at THS to ensure the best possible supply of our products to meet customer demand.

Dan has many years of sales and product experience across a range of sectors including Defence, height access, outdoor education and recreation in both wholesale and retail.

Education and qualifications

Dan’s qualifications include a carpentry trade certificate and a heavy vehicle license.

  • 2014 to present - Technical sales consultant at THS 
  • 2011 to 2014 - Sales in rope access and outdoor wholesale and retail 
  • 2009 to 2011 - Product management and sales in roping and outdoor wholesale 
  • 1991 to 2008 - Import, product management and sales in roping and outdoor wholesale 
  • Prior to 1991 - Construction, outdoor education, and sales and management roles in climbing and outdoor retail
