Trainers
Total Height Safety is a RTO and leading provider of training in the field of access, rigging and rescue for the tree industry. THS trains mainly in NSW and provide training to the following industries:
- Arboriculture
- Maintenance
- Government bodies
- Forestry
- Industrial rope access companies
- Emergency services
- Theme & adventure parks
We currently have the following roles on offer:
Arborist Trainers
We are looking for casual or sub-contract trainers that have experience in the above-mentioned fields.
Typical modules that THS requires trainers for are:
- Aerial rescue Climbing trees
- Felling trees
- WHS
- Knotting
- Chainsaw
- Advanced techniques in climbing & felling
The successful applicant/s would:
- Hold a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessing as required by ASQA
- Hold current qualifications in the subjects being trained
- Live within easy access to our Artarmon training centre
- Is willing to travel interstate to deliver training modules. Normally durations do not exceed 3 days.
- Have good people and communication skills
- Be highly structured, organised and motivated
- Show confidence and leadership
- Have a strong focus on safety and quality
- Have good computer skills
- Have current first aid certificate
Confined Space Trainers
We are looking for casual or sub-contract trainers that have experience in the above-mentioned fields. Typical modules that THS requires trainers for are:
- Entry
- Permit issuing
- Rescue
- Breathing apparatus – long line & SCBA
The successful applicant/s would:
- Hold a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessing as required by ASQA
- Hold current qualifications in the subjects being trained
- Live within easy access to our Artarmon training centre
- Is willing to travel interstate to deliver training modules. Normally durations do not exceed 3 days.
- Have good people and communication skills
- Be highly structured, organised and motivated
- Show confidence and leadership
- Have a strong focus on safety and quality
- Have good computer skills
- Have current first aid certificate
Height Safety/Rescue Trainers

- Wind farms
- Industrial rope access companies
- Film & stage
- Mining and Emergency services
- Ski resorts
- Theme & adventure parks
The successful applicant/s would:
- Hold a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessing as required by ASQA
- Hold current qualifications in the subjects being trained
- Live within easy access to our Artarmon training centre
- Is willing to travel interstate to deliver training modules. Normally durations do not exceed 3 days.
- Have good people and communication skills
- Be highly structured, organised and motivated
- Show confidence and leadership
- Have a strong focus on safety and quality

WHS Trainers
We are looking for casual or sub-contract trainers that have experience in the above-mentioned fields. Typical modules that THS requires trainers for are:
- Manual handling
- WHS
- First aid
- Fire awareness
- Risk assessment
The successful applicant/s would:
- Hold a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessing as required by ASQA
- Hold current qualifications in the subjects being trained
- Live within easy access to our Artarmon training centre
- Is willing to travel interstate to deliver training modules. Normally durations do not exceed 3 days.
- Have good people and communication skills
- Be highly structured, organised and motivated
- Show confidence and leadership
- Have a strong focus on safety and quality
- Have good computer skills
- Have current first aid certificate
