This very long fig tree branch was dropping lower and lower and presented a high likelihood of failure. It was also popular for groups of kids to sit on the branch and have their photo taken. This action increased the load on the branch and the likelihood of branch failure. Removal or shortening of the branch was not an option and the property manager was happy with a support system.
The swing style design allows the branch to move naturally in all directions except down. The structure partly supports the branch and lifts it off the ground to allow clearance for mowing.
