This one day course provides successful participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to competently issue a confined space entry permit. It builds on the knowledge and skills acquired during a base level confined space course such as the THS Confined Space Entry Course.••Topics include the following: • • Confined space risk assessment;• • Operation of portable gas detectors;• • Ventilation and purging;• • Access and retrieval systems; and • • Rescue planning.••Duration: 8 hours over one day••Prerequisites: •Confined Space Entry course (T855,CSRM100); or the equivalent qualification.
